Welcome Eagle's Cliff Appaloosa Stud, home to a very special breed of horse... The Appaloosa. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us. Although we are a horse stud, we love all things beautiful and colourful. We also have a small Nguni cattle herd, a Shetland pony herd, and not forgetting our dairy goats. We strive to breed horses of substance and integrity, sometimes sacrificing a little colour in the process, but producing a horse of magnificence, with impeccable temperament and conformation.

The stud started almost 12000 miles away when we bought our first colt whilst living in the UK. Black Arrow Chinook or affectionately known as "Ted" is our first breeding Stallion, and what a boy he is. Please take the time and have a look at him on the stallion page...

We are now also breeding our Appaloosas stallions to selected Thoroughbred Mares, especially selected for their temperaments, character, grace and athleticism. We strive to breed Appaloosa Sport Horses of the highest standard.

The rest of our breeding herd is Quarterhorse x Boerperd mares, but they do have a little Appaloosa in them. And of course fantastic temperaments. Then we have the Shetland mares that we plan to use to breed beautiful little Appaloosas with.
