Zonnderend Ima Too
Substantial, thick-set, concrete, firm, excellence, quality, superiority, eminence, passive, feisty, brave, determined, vigorous, these are the only words to describe Ima, she is a 15hh, registered F4 Appaloosa mare, she has unusual coloring which makes her so unique in every way. She is an amazing riding horse and produces top quality foals of good bone and conformation, not to mention impeccable manners and temperament to match. She has a heart of gold with absolutely no vices. She is incredibly strong-willed and will always please her trainer and rider. She is a forward going mare, but extremely well schooled in English and Western Riding. Unfortunately due to an old scar on her leg, Ima will not be participating further in showing classes, but we will be looking at entering her into further dressage and western classes as this is where she excels. Opera Bound
This amazing 16.1hh 9yo Thoroughbred mare, by Concertino out of a Sleek Gold mare, has an impressive bloodline going back to tremendous horses like Northern Dancer, Nearco, Mr. Prospector, Native Dancer, Vaguely Noble and Pharos. Opera Bound, known to us as Annie or Roo started her racing career and was later sold to a young girl, she wanted to school Annie as a riding horse but fell financially short and the horse was then sold to the Potchefstroom Police unit as a broodmare where she was covered by their Friesian stallion and she produced a very good looking filly. Annie was later sold to a man at an auction as she was said to be un-rideable. Annie was in a shocking state when we found her and we slowly nursed her back to health, she was found to have a dropped hip, her shoulders were out and she had pulled her nearside hamstring which was putting immense pressure on her tendons. We had to do physio work on her daily, she is now once again sound, happy and extremely well rounded. She has a remarkable nature; she is extremely friendly and whinnies when you call her. She is extremely easy to handle and a very kind ride, I have even had my young children on her which she really enjoyed. Annie has just started her basic schooling once again and will be schooled in show jumping, cross country and dressage when she is not carrying one of our very special babies. Annie was covered early this year by Chinook and we are expecting a mind-blowing foal from her later this year. More Pictures To follow soon
Pretty Nita
This well built 15hh dark bay Thoroughbred mare by Shoe Danzig out of a Del Sarto mare has a striking bloodline going back to Northern Dancer, Nearco, Nasrullah, Bold Ruler and Olympia. Nita has only recently joined our herd and we have found her to be a very pleasing mare with immaculate nature which I am sure she will pass down to her foals to come. Nita is currently in-foal to a magnificent registered Arabian Stallion called Mutazz Silver Flame. Silver Flame’s lines go back to magnificent horses like Silver Shai, Simeon Shai and Vidiko Gôhar Grey. Silver Flame’s grand-sire was a World Champion showing Arabian (imported into the USA from Australia). All his foals have been of outstanding quality.

This esteemed 1993 American Quarter Horse x Boerperd mare is one of our most tremendous riding horses of all time. Livvie is a quiet, sensible ride and takes her time to get to know her rider. If you are a novice rider she treats you with the utmost respect, should you be an experienced rider, she will give you the best ride of your life. She has a superb nature and loves attention and loads of treats. Livvie has been used as a hack and broodmare for most of her life and we will be introducing her to the show ring in May 2007 in her first in hand showing class where we are expecting she will excel. Even at the mature age of 13yrs, Livvie has so much to offer with her incredible stocky, well built conformation, she is a horse of incredible substance which makes her a magnificent weight carrier. Livvie is your typical bombproof mare, nothing scares her, even when hacking in the country, wild buck could jump out in front of your path way and she would never bat an eyelid.
