Black Arrow Chinook, is a top class, thickset Registered F4 Appaloosa colt, affectionately known to all as Ted. This truly exceptional solid built colt is a horse of outstanding substance and quality. He is the grandson of the Imported ApHC registered Stallion Peter Ehrlich. Chinook goes back to eminent horses like Apache, rated as 1 of the top 100 race horses of all time, in any breed and won either Champion or Reserve Champion Performance Horse Title in each of the 5 National shows he competed in. He also won 16 of the 19 races between 1948 and 1950. Take a closer look at his family tree and you will see the remarkable names of Jaydee Meranko and Alpha Toby’s Yosemite.

His conformation is out of this world, as is his hunter movement and superior temperament. Chinook should reach a minimum of 15.2hh when he has fully matured. He is not a horse with a great deal of colour but his exceptional conformation and temperament makes him a stallion of great substance. In all of his foals this season, he has corrected 100% of faults in the mares. All of his foals has his conformation and temperament.

He has been exceedingly triumphant in the show ring at his young age. He came was named Supreme Reserve National Champion Stallion at the 2007 Appaloosa Nationals, judged by International Judge Sally Chamberlain.

Chinook is now available for the 2008/09 breeding season to approved mares only. He has an extensive waiting list so be prompt in getting your bookings in early to avoid disappointment.

Out of the huge imported Stallion Drea Eagle's Dandy and Alpha Quadroon Kiddo. AD is a true Tri Coloured Leopard. He has exceptional conformation and temperament. AD is slightly more feisty than Chinook, but still a very calm stallion. There is a very good chance that he will produce colour. His first foal crop is expected this year. AD will breed exceptional Sport Horses.
